Weeden threw for 4,328 yards with 34 touchdowns, and Luck had 35 scoring passes while accumulating 3,170 yards. Both led their teams to 11-1 records. Now it was time for them to face off in the 2012 Fiesta Bowl.  Andrew Luck played great that game comleting 87.1 % of his passes!! The win was in Lucks hands. It is 38-31 stanford. Luck gets them into field goal position. All the kicker has to do is make this 35-yard field goal and they will put the game away. The fans get loud, the kick is up its on its way!! Its hooked wide right!!! Oklahoma state gets the ball drives and scores a TD and takes it into overtime where they would take a win away from stanford for themselvs.
 It was a very disappointing loss for Luck
